TYRONE The District 6 Class AAA girls' volleyball trophy will be in the same place for at least another year.

Conlon scored the game-winning goal, unassisted with eight seconds left in regulation during a 2-1 ice hockey victory over Canon-McMillan last Thursday. The triumph against the perennial league power improved the Little Lions' record to 2-1.
Lucia Sofo, State College
The senior won her second straight District 6 Class AAA cross country title by running a 19:49. Sofo also helped State College compile a perfect team score of 15 to capture its eighth straight title. She will compete in this weekend’s PIAA meet at Hershey.
While getting to know Harry Breon through various phone calls over the last half year, it wasn't hard to figure out that the Bellefonte native eats, sleeps and breathes Centre County sports history.
It's time to thumb through the archives because the District 6 cross country championships are approaching and last year's team champions could be primed to keep their regional bragging rights.
